Kingwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center offers in-house rehabilitation services. Instead of having different therapists work with you during your stay, our in-house therapy program allows for a more personal relationship between patient and therapist. You will work closely with a select group of therapists, letting them get to know you and cater your treatment plan to meet your needs.
2 Nu Steps
Combining ultrasound (US) with electrical stimulation (e-stim) is a treatment option to decrease acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, decrease muscle tone-spasm, increase local circulation, and increase-maintain joint range of motion (ROM)
1 Vital Stim
A therapy device that uses neuromuscular electrical stimulation to treat dysphagia (difficulty swallowing). It strengthens the muscles involved in swallowing, improving function and reducing the risk of aspiration.
Rosie Connectivity Vital Signs monitoring device
A device that integrates with electronic health records to monitor and record vital signs. It improves data accuracy, reduces manual entry errors, and enhances patient care efficiency.
Cable Pulley System
Exercise equipment that uses adjustable pulleys for resistance training. It allows for a wide range of motion and targets multiple muscle groups, enhancing strength and flexibility.
3 mats
A large, sturdy table used in therapy for exercises and manipulations. It provides a stable surface for stretching, range-of-motion exercises, and manual therapy
Hi-lo table
An adjustable-height table used in therapy that allows for variable positions of residents. It provides a stable surface for stretching, range-of-motion exercises, and manual therapy
2 Standing Frames
A device that supports patients in an upright position. It helps improve circulation, bone density, and muscle strength, and can enhance psychological well-being by promoting independence.
Ramps
Inclined surfaces used to improve accessibility and mobility. They are essential for wheelchair users and help in rehabilitation by providing a gradient for walking exercises.
2 sets of Stairs
Used in rehabilitation to improve lower body strength, balance, and cardiovascular fitness. Able to simulate home environments for safe DC planning.
Small hand weights
for strength training and toning
Parallel Bars

TheraBand
for resistance training. Available in different resistance levels, for stretching, strengthening, and improving flexibility.
Ankle weights
Designed to add resistance to exercises, they help improve strength, endurance, and muscle tone.
Shoulder Arcs
Designed for shoulder rehabilitation and mobility exercises, shoulder arcs help improve range of motion and flexibility.
Thera putty
Ideal for hand therapy and strengthening, effective way to improve grip strength and dexterity.
